The Picture-Smart Bible helps Christians fulfill two directives given in the Bible. The first spoken by Moses to Hebrew parents: “You shall teach them (God’s word) diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up” (Deut. 6:7). The second was proclaimed by Jesus Christ to all Christians: “Go... and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (from Matt. 28:19-20). The Picture-Smart Bible is both an evangelistic tool and a discipling manual.
